Michael Parini
Chief Executive Officer and Director
Michael has more than 20 years’ experience as a senior executive in the biopharma and biotech industries. He joined Freeline as President and Chief Operating Officer in March 2021 and was named Chief Executive Officer in August 2021. Previously, Michael was a senior executive at Vertex Pharmaceuticals for five years, held senior global roles during more than a decade with Pfizer, and practiced healthcare law at Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld in Washington, DC. A member of the New York and District of Columbia bars, Michael received a Bachelor of Arts in American Government and Politics and a law degree from Georgetown University.
